Queen's Death

Queen Elizabeth II, who had reigned the United Kingdom for 70 years, passed away at Balmoral on September 8 at the age of 96. After the passing of her husband, Prince Philip, on April 9, 2021, the Queen's health started to deteriorate. Prince Charles became King Charles III on September 18 after she passed away. He is also the oldest king to ever ascend to the British throne at the age of 73. The next in line to the throne of the United Kingdom is Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles and former Duke of Cambridge
