North Korea conducted an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test to enhance its "fatal" nuclear attack capacity against rivals, as it threatened more powerful steps in response to planned military training between the United States and South Korea. The ICBM test, the North's first since Jan. 1, suggests that leader Kim Jong Un is using his rivals' drills to increase his country's nuclear capability for future negotiations with the United States. An expert believes that North Korea may conduct regular operational exercises involving its ICBMs. The Korean Central News Agency said the missile test was a sudden order by Kim.
